Consider the following observation by a student who was carrying out an experiment to prepare a solution of salt in the laboratory. "When 5 g of salt is added to 50 cmof warm water and stirred, all the salt dissolved. However, when 5 g of the same salt is added to 50 cm of cold water, some of it remained insoluble.

State the inference for this experiment based on the above observation. ​

okay so the salt dissolved in the hot water because the hot water carried some latent heat and this latent heat was able to overcome and break the bonds of the salt therefore making it soluble whilst the cold water wasn't because it didn't have enough energy to overcome the bonds between the molecules of the salt
