Answer:

y = - 6x - 15

Explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

y = - 6x + 2 ← is in slope- intercept form

with slope m = - 6

Parallel lines have equal slopes then

y = - 6x + c ← is the partial equation

To find c substitute (- 2, - 3 ) into the partial equation

- 3 = 12 + c ⇒ c = - 3 - 12 = - 15

y = - 6x - 15 ← equation of parallel line
