Please explain how (-6) -(-9) is 3 please im so confused

Answer:

its 3 because....

Explanation:

you have to use inverse operation and add 3 onto 6 to get 9 instead of subtracting.

You would do the -(-9) first to make it be 9 because you’ll times it and pretend there is a -1 in front of the parentheses to get that. Then you’ll drop down the -6 and take it out of the parentheses so it would be -6+9 to get 3
