A resonant sound when the intercostal spaces of the posterior chest are

Its clear that posterior chest stays outside of lungs hence the lungs muscles are involved.

  • There are different sounds occur in our body
  • When we tap on lunds tissue low pitched, hollow sounds are heard .
  • When we tap on bones flat or extremely dull sounds areheard .
  • When we tap over heart dull or thudlike sounds are normally heard
