y = (2/3)x + 5

Explanation:

y = (2x - 1)/3 is also

y = (2/3)x - 1/3

to get started on this question you will want to plug in the points and remove the - 1/3 as the slope is the same

5 = 0 + b

the b is the y intercept or what was -1/3 in the previous equation

thus when you write the equation for the line that is parallel to y=(2x-1)/3 and passes though (0,5)

you get

y = (2/3)x + 5
