PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!! THIS IS FOR 100 POINTS!!!!

I have spent the whole day doing assignments and my brain is undeniably tired. I'm sure this is a simple question that my brain (because it's tired) is just refusing at the moment to comprehend this information.

Thinking about the effect of geography on people, movement, and development. In a few sentences, predict or explain how the geography of the American Southwest could have presented challenges to movement and development of the nation.

Geography is the study of places and the relationships between people and their environments.
