Explanation:

angle <Y and the angle labeled 68 are interior angles on the same side of a transversal, so they are supplementary. 180-68=112

angle <Y and the one labeled (6z-56) are vertical angles, which means they are equal. So to find z we can set up an equation like this: (6z-56)=112

calculate and you'll get z=28 :)
