FG = 10

Explanation:

FH - GH = FG

16 - 6 = 8x + 2

10 = 8x + 2

10 - 2 = 8x (+ 2 - 2)

8 = 8x

8/8 = 8x/8

x = 1

8x + 2

8(1) + 2
