The midpoint formula

Explanation:

(x,y)=(x1+x2)/2,(y1+y2)/2 ..(Take any two points that are opposite to each other in this case first and third points)

(x,y)=(1+2)/2,(-4+9)/2

(x,y)=3/2,5/2

As the diagonals of a square are equal, their intersection point will be the midpoint.
