Solve the equation: 2 (x + 2x) = 36.
Divide both sides by 2.
Divide 36 by 2 to get 18.
Combine x and 2x to get 3x.
Divide both sides by 3.
Divide 18 by 3 to get 6.
=>
Option D. x = 6
is the right answer.
