Answer:

1.) 300 2.)50 3.)20

last part>>>> malorie makes $30 dollars more a month

Explanation:

okay forst this is both of their:

y(total amount)=m(rate/change)x(independent variable)+b (initial starting amount)

y=mx+b

Malorie: Karina

y=50m+100 y=20m+200

meaning for malorie, everytime you add another rate, it goes up by 50.

karina in the other hand, in the table it shown every time the month increases, she goes up by +20. So her rate of change would be 20, as she goes up by that amount.

Look at the table when she had 280 dollars. Karina was 4 months in.

her equation would be : y= 20(4)+200

because both women are being compared, youĺl have to find out how much malorie made in THOSE 4 MONTHS

so now take malorieś equation

y=50m+100 to y=50(4)+100 >>> y=200+100 >>>> 300=200+100

then answer for the last questions is because you look at the rate and only that. Karinaś rate is 20, Malorieś is 50. obviously malorieś rate is 30 more.

mkay that was a lot but if need simplify just say kk
