From question we have,

  • Inital velocity(u) = 0
  • Accleration(a) = 15.4 m/s²
  • Time taken(t) = 22 sec

Now, from the second equation of motion;

  • s = ut + ½at² { where s = distance covered }

Just put all the values provided in the question, in this equation;

  • s = ut + ½at²
  • s = (0 × 22) + ½ × 15.4 × 22 × 22
  • s = 15.4 × 11 × 22
  • s = 15.4 × 242
  • s = 3726.8 m

Therefore, distance it will rise in 22 seconds will be 3726.8m
