When a person is making a meme they should check if this meme may be unintentionally creating misinformation or fear. If the meme is about a culture or a community it would be in their best interest to do some research into whether the contents of the meme are offensive or portrays that community in a negative way.

Step-by-step explanation:

An example would be Corona vaccination memes. Some people make memes about side effects that may not even exist. I have to admit some are pretty funny but some of the memes that are posted there is no evidence to back them them. They may be funny but they could cause someone to become hesitant the to get the vaccine and as a result they may get infected and possibly get sick.
