d=-8 because a negative times a negative is a positive and 8 x 4 is 32, so you would switch both numbers to negatives

Answer:

d = -8

Explanation:

Isolate the variable, d. Note the equal sign, what you do to one side, you do to the other. Divide -4 from both sides of the equation:

d * -4 = 32\\(d * -4)/(-4) = (32)/(-4)\\d = (32)/(-4)\\d = -8

d = -8 is your answer.
