A = 27π cm² or about 84.8 cm²

Explanation:

Area of a full circle is πR²

As there are four right angles making up a 360° turn, and the missing piece is one of those four, there are ¾ of a circle remaing

A = ¾πR² = ¾π6² = 27π cm² or about 84.8 cm²
