to calculate this angle you have to find the value of angle x because the two are equal since they originate from the same arc to find angle y,you subtract the sum of 90 and 47 by 180, because they form a triangle and the top part of that triangle is 90°( the angle at the circumference is half the angle at the center 180/2=90°)

90+47+x=180

x=180-137

x=43°

therefore y=43
