So we have 2 dollars and 34 cents. Now we have a dollar and 5 quarters. A quarter is equal to 25 cents. So 4 quarters is equal to 1 dollar. So it will be 2 dollars and 25 cents for the other quarter that we have. Now we add 2.34 and 2.25 which we get 4.59 dollars(i tried my best ok).

Quick equation:2d+3(10)+4(1)=$2.34

2d+5(25)=$2.25
