Explanation:

Finding second diagonal :-

  • d' = √{ 17² - 8²}
  • d' = √{ 289 - 64 }
  • d' = √{ 225 }
  • d' = 15 u

Using formula :-

  • A = 1/2 * d * d'
  • A = 1/2 * 15 * 8
  • A = 15 * 4 u²
  • A = 60 u²
