Given :-

  • A=\left[\begin{array}{ccc}1&4\\5&6\\\end{array}\right]
  • a
    _(ij) = 6

To Find :-

  • Value of i and j

Solution:-

\longrightarrowIn a matrix the the the position of an element is determined by using a
_(ij) where i the number of row and j is number of column in which the element is.

\leadstoSince 6 is in 2nd column and 2nd row , it's position can be written as a
_(22)

Comparing with a
_(ij)

  • i = 2
