Answer:

x = 36/5, 7 1/5, or 7.2 (all same, just in different form)

Explanation:

Step 1: Subtract 6 from both sides.

  • (5)/(9)x+6-6=10-6

  • (5)/(9)x=4

Step 2: Multiply both sides by 9/5.

  • (5)/(9)x*(9)/(5) =4*(9)/(5)
  • x = 36/5, 7 1/5, or 7.2

Have a lovely rest of your day/night, and good luck with your assignments! ♡

Get x alone by subtracting 6 from both sides to get 5/9x=4 then you times both sides by 9/5 to get x alone 4x9/5 is 7.2 or 7 2/10 so x=7 2/10
