the regular rhombus is formed by 4 right triangles, 1/2 of the diagonal is the cathetus.

8 : 2 = 4

6 : 2 = 3

find with Pythagoras the side of the rhombus

s = √(4² + 3²)

s = √(16 + 9)

s = √25

s = 5

now we find the perimeter by adding the 4 sides

5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 20
