If Y is the midpoint of XZ, Y is located at (3, -1), and 2 is located at (Il, -5), find the coordinates of X. If anyone answers this if you could give how you did it I would appreciate it. Thank you!

Answer:

i think you mean Z equals 2, so i'll work from there,

the difference between y(3,-1) and (11,5) is (8,6), so you only have to subtract y points by this

and then you get X equals (-5,-7)

Explanation:

finding the difference between points has been my cheat code in middle school algebra ; )
