Area of a kite = 1/2 xy
= 1/2 x 3 x 1.5
= 2.25ft

Hopefully that’s correct

Answer:

{ \tt{area = {area \: of \: 4 \: triangles}}} \\ area = (1)/(2) * base * height \\ \\ { \bf{area = 2((1)/(2) (0.75 * 1)) + 2( (1)/(2) * 0.75 * (3 - 1))}} \\ area = 0.75 + 1.5 \\ { \tt{area = 2.25 \: {ft}^(2) }} \\ \\ { \underline{ \blue{ \tt{becker \: jnr}}}}
