Hi, family found baby mouse in basement, need to raise it to release it in the wild when it gets bigger, how do you tell if it has parasites? Do we have to go to the vet, do vets take in wild animals? Or should we just call animal rescue to take care of it?

Sorry, I tried taking care of it when you gave it to me, but it died, because it wasn't with it's mother. If it's mother was still alive, it would've made it.

Step-by-step explanation:

Call a wildlife rehabilitator.

If you find a baby wild mouse (or an empty nest of baby mice), call your local wildlife rehabilitation office. Transferring the baby mouse to a wildlife professional is the best chance it has for survival.
