Can 17, 9, and 11 be the side lengths of a triangle?

Explanation:

You have to use the Pythagoras theorem which is a^2 + b^2 = c^2. So 9^2 + 11^2= 202. Then 17 is the hypotenuse so 17^2= 289. They are not equal so they are not.
