If the scale factor of a figure is 6, what is the new length of the enlarged figure matched to the length of the orginal?

Original: 1 cm
Enlarged: 6 cm
Original: 7 cm
Enlarged: 42 cm
Original: 2.5 cm
Enlarged: 15 cm
Original: 5 cm
Enlarged: 30 cm

Answers:

  • Original = 1 ----> Enlarged = 6
  • Original = 7 ----> Enlarged = 42
  • Original = 2.5 ----> Enlarged = 15
  • Original = 6 ----> Enlarged = 30

It looks like you have the correct order. To get those answers above, we simply multiply the original length by the scale factor 6.

Example: 7*6 = 42
