Therefore we can use the pythagorean theorem to solve this problem

The two legs of the right triangle will be 23 and 12

The formula is a^2 +b^2=c^2

So:

12^2+23^2=c^2

144+529=c^2

673=c^2

To find just c we need to find the square root of 673, rounded to the nearest tenth
