Explanation:

since 1,2, and 3 are all on the same line, and the sum of a line is 180 degrees, the sum of 1,2, and 3 is 180.

as you look at the lines, you can see it is 2 transversals cutting one parallel. if you look at the line that has the 5,3, and 1, you can see that the angles 5 and 1 are corresponding angles.

if you look at the other line, you can see that 2 and 4 are alternate interior angles which means that they are the same and have a relationship with eachother.
