(a.) y = 6 x^2 + 5x − 4
(b.) y = 4x^2 – 64

(a.)

=(6x^2-3x)+(8x-4)

=3x(2x-1)+4(2x-1)

=(2x-1)(3x+4)

zeros are x=-4/3, x= 1/2

(b.)

=4(x^2-16)

=4(x+4)(x-4)

zeros are x= -4 and x= 4
