Area of the smaller cylinder = x

Height is the bigger cylinder = 15cm

Area of the bigger cylinder = 487cm²

We can find the radius of the bigger cylinder

Radius of the bigger cylinder = 4.07 cm

Hence: we form our proportion to find radius of Smaller cylinder

12/15 = x/4.07

Cross Multiply

15x = 12 × 4.07

x = 12 × 4.07/15

x = 3.256 cm
