World War I and World War II are two major events that took place between 1914 and 1950. World War I started with the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. His murder started the war which spread across Europe that ended in 1918. World War I ended with the defeat of Central Power that consist of Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Turkey. After 21 years of peace, World War II started in Europe on September 1, 1939, when Germany invaded Poland. On this action of Germany, Great Britain and France declaring war on Germany on September 3 which ended with the defeat of Germany and Japan in 1945.
