Lincoln buys milk and oranges at the store.

He pays a total of $41.63.
He pays a total of $4.19 for the milk.
• He buys 6 bags of oranges that each cost the same amount.

He buys 6bags of Oranges and each of these cist the same amount.. let's say x.

So 6 bags would cost 6x

So Total is

6x + 4.19 =41.63

6x= 41.63-4.19

6x=37.44

x=37.44/6

x=$6.24

To check this

6x + 4.19 should equal 41.63$

6(6.24) + 4.19= $41.63
