(5^2 – 10) ÷ 5 × 2^3?
i know its 24 but can someone please explain it to me?

Ok! So because we have to use the order of operations you have to start inside the parentheses 5^2=25 then 25-10=15 next you have to do you second set of exponents outside the parentheses 2^3= 8 now you have the equation now u just solve left to right

you have to first do parentheses so we start in there: 5^2= 25 so 25-10= 15, we next move on to exponents (which is also why we did that first in the parentheses btw) so 2^3= 8, now we’re gonna go in order since it’s all multiplication and division: 15/5=3, then 3x8=24!
