A student not meeting a goal is a common situation you will encounter. How do you explain this to students in a way that maintains their confidence to continue working, but also shows them the reality of adjusting their goals and continuing to work hard?

Answer:

I. Always give positive feedback

II. Give the student a practical and realistic expectations

III. Always engage the students in order to determine the root causes of his or her poor performance

IV. Adopt different teaching methods

V. Do more of facilitation.

Explanation: There are several ways and techniques to help a struggling student in order to improve his or her performance, as highlighted above it will be very helpful to always give positive feedback and response to the student like celebrating his or her successful accomplishment or improvements, ensure that the student is given practical and realistic expectations, engage the student in discussion to determine his or her major problems, try to vary your teaching methods to make it more attractive and encouraging to the student and as a teacher it will be very good to do more of facilitation which will help to give the student the chances to give inputs and feedbacks.
