1) we need to find the common denominator so we can multiply the denominators with each other.

(6*4)/(10*4)
+(3*10)/(4*10)
=(24)/(40) +(30)/(40)
=(54)/(40)=1(14)/(40)

2) make first fraction into improper fraction

(20)/(12) -(2)/(3) =(20)/(12) -(2*4)/(3*4) =(20)/(12) -(8)/(12)=(12)/(12) =1

3) turn into improper fraction
(3)/(4)+(12)/(5) +(3)/(4) =(3*5)/(4*5)+(12*4)/(5*4) +(3*5)/(4*5)=(15)/(20)+(48)/(20)+(15)/(20)=(78)/(20)

4) turn into improper fraction

(38)/(8) +(14)/(5) =(38*5)/(8*5) +(14*8)/(5*8)=(190)/(40) + (112)/(40)=(302)/(40)

then we minus 2 3/4

(302)/(40) - (11)/(4) = (302)/(40) - (11*10)/(4*10)=(302)/(40) - (110)/(40)=(192)/(40)

5) 7/3= 2.33333333333 or
2 (1)/(3)
