What are some economic disadvantages of using solar energy other than cost?

  1. During the winter, solar generation is lower.
  2. Devices that run on direct DC power are also more expensive.
  3. For the same quantity of power generation, the size of solar panels vary based on geographical location.
  4. Cloudy days don't provide nearly as much energy as sunny days.
  5. Automobiles powered by the sun do not have the same speeds or power as automobiles driven by gasoline (this too is starting to change).
  6. Solar generation is lower in the winter.

The terms of "solar energy" is refers to any sort of energy produced by the sun. Solar energy can be directly or indirectly utilized for human use. These solar panels, which are put on a roof in Germany, collect solar energy and transform it into power.
