Explanation:

the formula for the lateral surface area of a cone (all i mean is the area up the sides and not the area of the circle on the of the cone) is the

slant height times r times pi

so put in the variables(diameter/2 = r so 12/2 = 6)

6*6*3.14 = 113.04
