If a natural hazard only harms plants (like consumers), how will that impact producers????

Well plants are producers so if your taking about a natural hazard harming producers is would harm consumers as it would deprive them of food.

If you taking about the harming of consumers (animals), then producers would be impacted as they would over-populate causing competition within the species of producers. The plants would experience exponential growth but eventually reach its carrying capacity due to competition and resource depletion.
