: How do you think these geographic features influenced where people settled?

I don't know where you're referring to with "these" but I'll try to help you out :)

Geographic features are very important to where people settled. As the person above said it does depend on occupation. It also depends on what they need. For instance, not many people would want to settle in a sandy, dry desert because there would be lack of water and extreme heat. The ideal spot would probably be near water, not too hot, not too cold. Food such as plants and animals, and a place where they could build shelter. It all depends if jobs and resources.

Determines people's lifestyles, as they adapt to the available food and climate patterns. As humans have migrated across the planet, they have had to adapt to all the changing conditions they were exposed to.
