This probably means that the table represents an exponential function

The general form of this is;

y = a•b^x

From the first point

800 = a*b^0

800 = a * 1

a = 800

Using the second point;

400 = 800 * b^1

b = 400/800

b = 1/2

So we have the equation as;

y = 800•1/2(^x)
