Answer:

y = 4x +2

Explanation:

The formula/equation for slope-intercept form is: y=mx+b. M stands for slope and b stands for the y-intercept.

In this question, you're already given the slope, 4, so luckily, you don't need to find that. However, you need to find the y-intercept, or otherwise known as b in the slope-intercept formula.

Given coordinates: (6, 26) ---> (6 is the x-intercept, and 26 is the y-intercept)

Slope: 4

Plug those values into y=mx+b

26 = 4(6) + b

26 = 24 + b

Subtract 24 on both sides to isolate out b.

2 = b

Now that you've found the y-intercept, plug in your stuff to form your slope-intercept equation/formula.

y = 4x + 2
