Why are fossil fuels considered nonrenewable resources?

They are considered nonrenewable because they are prehistoric animals that has been extinct therefore can't be renew.

because fossil fuels are the remains of dead plants and animals that died millions of years so there is only a certain amount on earth and once all of the resource has been used up we cannot make anymore. however renewable sources ex solar energy will never run out because there will never not be sun
