Hey there!

5(x - 3) - 3x = 8x - 15 - 6x

DISTRIBUTE 5 WITHIN the PARENTHESES

5(x) + 5(-3) - 3x = 8x - 15 - 6x

5x - 15 - 3x = 8x - 15 - 6x

COMBINE the LIKE TERMS

2x - 15 = 2x - 15

SUBTRACT 2x to BOTH SIDES

2x - 13 - 2x = 2x - 15 - 2x

SIMPLIFY IT!

NEW EQUATION: -15 = -15

ADD 15 to BOTH SIDES

-15 + 15 = -15 + 15

SIMPLIFY IT!

0 = 0

Therefore, your answer is:

Option D. INFINITELY MANY SOLUTIONS

Good luck on your assignment & enjoy your day!
