We need to simplify the expression , x -⁴ .

  • We know that , if a number has negative power, then in order to convert , the negative power into positive , we will inverse ( reciprocal) and then put the positive power.

=> x -⁴

=> (1/x) ⁴

=> 1⁴/ x ⁴

=> 1/x⁴

Hence the required answer is 1/x .

x⁻⁴ would be written as
(1)/(x^(4) ) as it's simplified form
