Answer:

y=105

x=7

one side of the line equals 180

therefore it is impossible for y to not equal 105 as that would just not make sense. i don't know how to explain this better but its basic geometry rules.

as for x you take 180-105 which gets you to 75 which is the angle degrees of y but is not the value for the variable of y itself.

if 75=y then

75=14x-23

98=14x

x=7
