Plzzz help I need a answer . farmer buys donkeys and horses for R53 800 . Altogether he buys 100 Animals . The price of the horse is R730 and of a donkey is R 230 . How many of each animal did he buy ?​

Let number of horse be h

Based on the question given, we can form an equation which will be:

d + h = 100 ........ i

230d + 730h = 53800 ........ ii

Multiply equation i by 230

230d + 230h = 23000 ...... iii

230d + 730h = 53800 ....... iv

Subtract iii from iv

500h = 30800

h = 30800/500

h = 61.6

Since d + h = 100

d = 100 - 61.6 = 38.4
