You and your friends have just measured the heights of your dogs. The heights are 600mm, 470mm, 170mm, 430mm and 300mm. Find out the Mean, the Variance, and the Standard Deviation.​

To find the mean, you have to add all numbers together and divide them by the number of data points.

let me show what I mean:

The heights of the dogs are 600,470,170, 430,300.

Explanation:

600+470+170+430+300.

1970.

Now we have to divide 1,970 by 5 ( because we are given 5 data points)

The mean is:

1970/5=394

Variance: First, arrange the data from least to greatest.

s2 = 27130

Standard Deviation: 164.71187
