Answer: Poor running form can mean not extending your trailing leg. If you don’t extend the leg, then you don’t use up all the energy that leg has to offer. This can mean that you won’t be pushed ahead as far as you might like with each stride. If that energy is not used, then it is wasted. Your competitors might extend their legs as they should and pass you by in an important race.
