Answer:

See below

Explanation:

7. Let's put points in this equation, 1, 2, and 3 will do.

y = 4x

y = 4(1)

y = 4

(1, 4)

y = 4x

y = 4(2)

y = 8

(2, 8)

y = 4x

y = 4(3)

y = 12

(3, 12)

Plot the points, and draw the line. See the first attached graph.

8. Let's put points in this equation, 1, 2, and 3 will do.

y = x + 6

y = 1 + 6

y = 7

(1, 7)

y = x + 6

y = 2 + 6

y = 8

(2, 8)

y = x + 6

y = 3 + 6

y = 9

(3, 9)

Plot the points, and draw the line. See the second attached graph.

9. Let's put points in this equation, 1, 2, and 3 will do.

y = 2x + 1

y = 2(1) + 1

y = 2 + 1

y = 3

(1, 3)

y = 2x + 1

y = 2(2) + 1

y = 4 + 1

y = 5

(2, 5)

y = 2x + 1

y = 2(3) + 1

y = 6 + 1

y = 7

(3, 7)

Plot the points, and draw the line. See the third attached graph.

Answer:

so for the first one, y=4x

meaning y = 4 times x

if y=1, x=4. y=2,x=8 y=3,x=12 etc..

same concept for the other ones.

y=x+6

x=1 then 1+6 = 7, so y=7

x=2 then 2+6 = 8, so y=8

etc

hope this helps
