Okay so first we do y2 - y1

-1 - (-3)

a negative minus a negative is just adding so its actually

-1 + 3 = 2

now we do x2 - x1

2 - 1 = 1

The slope is 1/2

If you look at the (0, -5) since x is a y the -5 is our y intercept

now we can make the equation

y=1/2x-5
